How Living Things Grow

This series looks at the life cycles of some familiar plants and animals. The books use a strong narrative in order to make the books great examples of chronological reports and sequential text structures. A question box feature throughout the book encourages readers to interact with the text and prompt them to think about what they are learning in order to predict what might happen next. Other features include life cycle diagrams to aid understanding by presenting key information in a visual way and life cycle timelines which show photos from the main life stages and include information about the time at which they would occur.
