Sizes

This series takes readers on a journey by looking at different sizes from all over the world. Each title explores the concept of size and encourages children to compare the sizes of different objects, e.g. an elephant is big and an ant is small. Once these simple comparisons are established, each title expands upon the theme by looking at variations in size e.g. a bee is small, but an ant is even smaller, or a rocket is big, but a planet is even bigger. Size language such as ‘big’, ‘little’, ‘tiny’, and ‘huge’ are used throughout each title to describe the objects on the page. Each book features superimposed photos of a child or children examining and interacting with the objects on the page.
